Well, the Canadian GP looks pretty much dead. To bring local business to side with the government against FOM takes some fairly outrageous bollocks from ol’ Bernard.

So, that’s the investment of Mercedes, Honda, Toyota, BMW, Bridgestone, Red Bull, and dozens of other sponsors and technology partners in F1 completely lost on the huge US market, and the punching-above-it’s-weight Canadian economy.

Add to this the news that the People’s Republic of China may axe their money-sucking GP.

Are there enough tiny oil-rich monarchies out there to fill a 16-race schedule?
